Diving Highlights

Panorama Reef

One of the highlights of the area is this huge coral formation with walls dropping to over 200m. You will find numerous grottos and overhangs, Gorgonians and soft corals, Jacks, Barracuda, Dolphins, White tip, Grey Reef and Silver tip Sharks. Rare encounters with Manta rays, Oceanic white tip sharks, Hammerhead Sharks are also possible.

Abu Kafan

Possibly the best dive in the area. Superb wall diving with soft and black coral, giant fan and Gorgonians with frequent sightings of Jacks, Barracuda, Reef sharks and the occasional Hammerhead.

Salem Express

A famous passenger ferry wreck dive. The 100m boat is a dramatic yet eerie dive, and a reminder of the destructive and regenerative powers of the sea. Around 500 people perished in one of the worst marine tragedies of all time, when she hit the reef during a stormy night and sunk rapidly. She is now home to thriving underwater life, which includes a resident frogfish.
