View a live paper making demonstration and an explanation of hieroglyphics at the Papyrus Institute before retiring to your 4-star hotel for dinner. In the evening, experience the wonders of the Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids.

After breakfast the next morning, take in the breathtaking Pyramids of Giza, last surviving Wonder of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Sphinx and Valley Temple. 1 Day Luxor Highlights

Fly from Sharm to Luxor and visit the Valley of the Kings containing tombs of the Pharaohs - including Ramses the Great - and site of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s treasures, untouched for over 3000 years, by British Egyptologist Howard Carter in 1922.

Visit the spectacular temple of Queen Hatshepsut in the rock face of Deir el Bahri, the Colossi of Memnon and an alabaster factory, then cross from West Bank to East Bank with a boat ride on the Nile.     

Following lunch, visit the monumental Temples of Karnak and Luxor as well as a papyrus factory before returning by plane to Sharm in the evening.

2 Day Cairo & Luxor (by plane)

Fly from Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo, and with the expert knowledge of qualified tour guides and an Egyptologist, enter this ancient Nile city. Visit the Egyptian National Museum to marvel at the legendary treasures of Tutankhamun and ancient artifacts before moving on to the breathtaking Pyramids of Giza - the last surviving remnant of the Seven Wonders - and the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple.

After lunch (included), experience the sounds, sights and smells of Khan El Khalili bazaar before travelling to your overnight accommodation - a 4 star hotel in the Pyramids area. In the evening, visit the spectacular Sound & Light show at the Pyramids.

St Catherine's Monastery

The 1 day tour crosses the Sinai Desert through some of the most amazing desert scenery, passing small Bedouin tents and villages to the Monastery of Santa Katarina - the oldest Christian monastery in existence and the smallest diocese in the world. Here you will see the chapel, Icon Gallery with 6th Century scriptures and icons 2nd only to the Vatican, the Burning Bush and famous Chamber of the Skulls with explanations from your guide.

During the trip back to Sharm stop for lunch at Dahab, an old Bedouin town on the Sinai shore, rich in local atmosphere and a shopper's paradise, before returning late afternoon.

Sunrise Over Mount Sinai

Departing late evening from Sharm el Sheikh, travel through the Sinai desert to the foot of the mountain where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments.

From here, your trek will take approx. 3 hours until you reach the summit - at a height of 2285m. Once at the peak, watch as the blanket of night is swept away and a new sun illuminates and floods the surrounding area with spectacular colour.

After your descent, a visit to the Monastery of St Catherine is included before setting off to Sharm for an afternoon arrival.

Please note - the climb is strenuous and guests should be fit to participate in this tour.

Coloured Canyon Jeep Safari

Experience the feeling of a timeless world, free of daily stress and see the wonders of the desert, coloured rock, rare fauna and fascinating geological structures.

Drive through impressive desert scenery, led by a guide, into the granite and sandstone mountains, passing an occasional water spring. Arriving at the Coloured Canyon, walk past the different rock colours after which the canyon is named.

Then on to Dahab - an old Bedouin town on the Sinai shore, rich in local atmosphere and a shoppers paradise – for lunch, before returning to Sharm el Sheikh.

Please note - for the walk through the canyon guests should be of good fitness.

Camel Trip & Bedouin Evening

Take a step back in time to discover the secret life of the Bedouin.

Journey across the boundless ‘moon’ landscape to Wadi El Aat where you will join the desert’s most famous form of transport - the camel, which will lead you to a Bedouin camp.

There you will hear about the Bedouin way of life and enjoy a simple but tasty meal under the star filled desert sky.

Fantasia

An evening of Egyptian culture and entertainment in the Alf Leila Wa Leila complex at Ras Um Sid, decorated in the style of an Arabian village.

Enjoy an Egyptian four course dinner followed by a show in the main arena featuring belly dancers, Egyptian folk dancers and horse-back riding exhibitions with a Sound & Light show depicting the ancient history of Egypt.

Blue Hole Snorkelling & Dahab Day

Combine the sea and desert with a jeep ride through the Sinai Desert until you reach the area of Dahab, which means gold in Arabic – so named by the local Bedouin for its golden beaches. We drive along the beach to the Blue Hole. Relax at a Bedouin camp for 1.5 hours, giving you time to snorkel at this spectacular site. Afterwards, travel into Dahab, for lunch at the Hilton (included) and stroll through the shopping bazaar before returning to Sharm.

(Participants must be confident swimmers and know how to snorkel)

Ras Mohamed By Bus

See for yourself why Jacques Cousteau stated that the best diving years of his life were spent in the Red Sea. Ras Mohamed, declared a National Park in 1983, is home to one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world.
Tour the park and view the strange rock formations, local wildlife and mangroves. Snorkel and discover the colourful marine life or simply relax and soak up the sun.

Star Gazer

Experience the wonders of deep space in the quiet of the desert.

Drive to the Megreh Valley to watch the sunset and then on to the Bedouin tent for soft drinks, Bedouin tea and “shisha” - Egyptian water pipe, while learning how to make the traditional Bedouin bread.

Explore the night sky through 10” and 12” computer directed telescopes and enjoy a peaceful tea with the Bedouin.

Snorkelling / Lazy Day Boat Trips

Discover the Red Sea's magnificent marine life as you snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the spectacular Ras Mohamed National Park or in the Straits of Tiran.

City Tour and 3D Planet

Start with an incredible underwater 3D film where you can reach out and almost touch the fish as they swim around you, before wandering through an amazing gallery of 3D photos of the Sinai. Continue on to the many diverse areas of Sharm el Sheikh, while having the culture and history explained by your guide. Visit the spectacular Mosque, shop in Naama Bay, and experience the hustle and bustle of Old Sharm.

Aqua Park

Cool off by splashing around in one of the many pools at Aquapark. From terrifying plunges and slides in the dark to gentle kayaking on the lazy river there are amusements for the whole family to enjoy.

Quad Biking

After a short time getting the feel of the quad bike – which is built like a four-wheeled motorbike – set off into the mountains of the desert with your guide, convoy style, and within minutes you will be whizzing around. Lots of sand, lots of laughs and very little educational value on this journey of fun in the desert.
