New to our portfolio of Red Sea resorts for winter 2010-2011 is Ain Sokhna.

Located in the northern Gulf of Suez, Ain Sokhna is ideally located for twin centre holidays with Cairo - the resort's laid back atmosphere and beautiful beaches making an ideal place to relax and recuperate after experiencing the intensity of Egypt’s largest city.

Ain Sokhna is also home to an 18 hole championship golf course catering to both low and high handicapped golfers, with four tee locations.

Ain Sokhna has long been a favourite seaside retreat for affluent inhabitants of Cairo, and the resort is fast becoming popular with international guests who enjoy its peaceful location, calm waters and upmarket atmosphere.

A plethora of watersports are available, but the area is not known for its reefs and does not offer divers many opportunities. The upside of this lack of reefs is that entering the water for swimmers and bathers is very easy, and ideal for children.

The Movenpick El Sokhna is located approximately 20 minutes away via road transfer. Ain Sokhna is best reached via Cairo, which is approximately 1 hour journey via a road transfer.
